It’s worth it to be bold and push boundaries
This design is reminiscent of the visionary architectural concepts of the 1970s. The vertical extension floats above the existing building, with the latter’s staircases serving as supports. The bridge framework looks cantilevered, but in terms of construction, it is formed like a two-storey hammerhead – an interesting approach to wood construction. With a special mention, the jury recognises the bold move of designing a project that pushes boundaries.
